Hej
I love being outside photographing, but when I'm not, I tend to code or play video games, which has led to some pretty cool projects over the years. I will showcase some of the projects I am particularly proud of here soon.
With coding as my profession I only ever do my own projects during the weekends. This allows me to reset and go into a project motivated and not feeling like it becomes a chore. They may never be completed and are more of a hobby. Currently I am shifting between two: a card game written in Go and JavaScript, and a game engine written in Zig using some smaller and well known C libraries.
Background
Before going to university I specialised in Information & Media Technology, covering CAD, web development, physics, and mathematics. After a few years of other work and serving in the military, I completed a Bachelor's in Computer Science. During my studies, I specialised in web development, focusing mainly on the web with Cloud Native in mind, but also Embedded, Machine Learning and DevOps. Through this, I have had experience with the majority of programming languages and tools. In my second and third years, I also worked part-time as a teaching assistant.
Since then I have found that colleagues matter most; any task can feel tedious, but a great team dynamic makes all the difference.
